Winter Preparations

The recent days of cooler weather should be a reminder that we should begin our preparations for winter and freezing temperatures. Winter is our most vulnerable time when it comes to an interruption to our water supply.  Your water system prepares our infrastructure for normal adverse winter weather conditions and as practical for extreme situations. We urge you, our members and customers, to also prepare winter-izing your home's water infrastructure and have emergency repair supplies on hand to reduce the expense and risks associated with frozen and ruptured pipes. High numbers of ruptured pipes can also put the water system as a whole at risk. This was the case last winter. Thank You
